This was taken with a Canon EOS 350D 50-200mm FD lens 12mm Extension tube and a x4 closeup filter
ISO 400 f5.6

Looks good to me. I think i would look good printed up on some art paper. Just one thing, i think you might have some dust on your sensor, in both images there is a darkish splog on the lower right.
